My name is Megan Gray. I am an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church with extensive experience in worship leadership, teaching the bible, doctrine and theology to all ages, change management, and strategic planning. I am highly skilled at connecting with diverse constituencies with empathy and care. It is a joy for me to empower people to implement initiatives and programs to strengthen their relationships and strengthen their faith. I offer specialized experience in developing and facilitating relationship enrichment programming. I have been described by colleagues and parishioners on confidential leadership assessments as a self-aware, articulate, and respected leader who invites positive collaboration, even in highly stressful situations.
I am certified in FIRO-B, a Myers Briggs Assessment and currently engaged in Co-Active Coach Training.
I graduated with a BA in Religious Studies from NCState in 2000 and an MDIV from Duke Divinity in 2004.
The Rev. Brad Gray (also an elder in the UMC) and I were married in 2005. We have two school aged children and one of our favorite family activities are road trips. We currently live in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
